Police are searching for two men who they say are responsible for robbing a 14-year-old boy of his motorized scooter at knifepoint in Midwood.

The men approached the boy near West 12th Street and Avenue P just after 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 12.

Authorities say one of the men displayed a knife and kicked the boy all over his body while demanding that he give over the scooter.

The second man then mounted the scooter and rode away, traveling northbound on Bay Parkway.

The boy was not injured, according to police.

One of the robbers was last seen wearing a green jacket, gray pants, multicolored sneakers and a gray backpack, while the other was observed in all black with multicolored sneakers.

Anyone with information is urged to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
