Parents and students at a Bronx school are complaining about no heat, and they say it's a problem they've had to deal with for too long.
Parents say that the heater at the International Leadership Charter School has been broken since last year. They also say that the air conditioner has been running throughout the winter and any attempts to fix the problem have been unanswered.
Students say they have had to resort to small portable heaters.
The school acknowledges the heating issue and says the landlord does not provide adequate heat.
In a statement, the CEO of the school said: "The indoor temperatures have been alleviated due to our internal efforts and the winterization of rooms first week back from break, at our school's expense."
