Two Westport parents want school officials to look into whether cyberbullying played a role in their son's death.
Staples High School student Christopher Lanni died on Dec. 23.
Multiple people say Lanni was a victim of cyberbullying, but police say they have uncovered no evidence of that. Lanni's mother wrote a letter to the school superintendent to ask for an investigation into whether he was bullied online.
Westport police say they will look into the case further. Westport's superintendent says the district is working closely with police in the investigation.
