Police say all is clear after Times Square was evacuated due to reports of a suspicious package on Thursday.
Police say it happened near West 45th Street to 48th Street on Broadway to Seventh Avenue.
The NYPD said the package, which "seems like a red cookie tin," was found on top of a bench in the area. Officers with the emergency services unit and the bomb squad were evalauted the situation.
The call came in around noon.
