A plane has landed safely after a reported bird strike at Westchester County Airport Sunday morning, according to the Westchester County Police Department.
Police received a 911 call at 6:30 a.m. for a report of a bird strike on takeoff, with 59 people on board.

Authorities could not confirm the type of aircraft or airline at this time.
Police say the plane landed safely back at the airport without incident.
