Police say 29-year-old Rohith Gurumurthy was driving a 2016 black Ducati Scrambler 800 east on Waldemere Road and then continued onto Atlantic Street when he lost control and hit a curb.

7h agoTwo Bridgeport residents are dead following a motorcycle accident in the city early Thursday morning, according to police.
Police say it happened just after 1 a.m. at the intersection of Waldemere Avenue and Atlantic Street.
Police say 29-year-old Rohith Gurumurthy was driving a 2016 black Ducati Scrambler 800 east on Waldemere Road and then continued onto Atlantic Street when he lost control and hit a curb.
Bridgeport police found Gurumurthy and 23-year-old passenger Zaveriya Shaikh unresponsive and lying in the grass near the motorcycle.
Police say both Gurumurthy and Shaikh died at the scene.
