Police: 3 charged in connection to accidental shooting of Watertown teen

Police say the teen was playing with the gun when he shot himself inside a home on Hadley Street in October.

Three people are facing charges relating to an incident in which a 14-year-old boy in Watertown accidentally shot himself in the head.
Police say the teen was playing with the gun when he shot himself inside a home on Hadley Street in October.
The boy's grandmother, Elizabeth Salcevski, and her boyfriend, Jose Soto-Berrios, along with boy's mother, Patricia Milot, were all charged with risk of injury to a minor.
Police say there were 20 unsecured firearms belonging to Soto-Berrios in the home.
Salcevski and Soto-Berrios were also charged with reckless endangerment and criminal negligent storage of a firearm.
The teen was taken to Connecticut Children's Medical Center but has since been released.
