Police say a Bridgeport man is in critical condition following a shooting on Thursday night.
According to police, the incident happened around 11:45 p.m. in the 1200 block of Park Avenue.
Police say they were called to the area on multiple ShotSpotter alerts.
When they arrived, police say they found a 56-year-old Bridgeport man with a gunshot wound.
The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
There is no word on any suspects or a motive behind the shooting.
Police say more than 30 rounds were fired during the incident. There have been several shootings in the area this summer, where police say multiple rounds were fired.
