Police: Bridgeport man shot for 2nd time in less than a year on same street

12h agoA man was shot on Howard Avenue in Bridgeport for the second time in a year, police say.
The shooting happened around 12:25 a.m. Monday on the 1200 block of Howard Avenue.
Police say they responded to the area for both a ShotSpotter activation and a 911 call.
When police arrived on scene, they say they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
They say the man was brought to the hospital in stable condition.
The victim told police that three men wearing ski masks are the ones responsible.
Police say the 29-year-old man was previously shot within the 1200 block of Howard Avenue on May 22, 2022.
