Police say a teenage suspect
from Bridgeport was killed in a car cash in Fairfield Monday morning.
They say the teen stole a
Honda Pilot while its owner was paying for gas inside the Exxon on Post Road
East.
Westport police pursued the
SUV, but say they broke off the chase due to safety concerns.
They say the vehicle
eventually crashed at the corner of the Post Road and Jelliff Lane in
Fairfield.
News 12 was told the teen
was tossed from the SUV and later died at the hospital.
Anyone who may have seen the
crash is asked to call police.
