News 12 has learned a police chase Thursday morning in Orange County is tied to state police activity in the Middletown area. 

State police say troopers were on an I-84 entrance ramp off Route 17 after a police chase miles away in Walden. 

A police K-9 was seen with authorities seemingly searching for something along the highway. 

News 12 received a tip Thursday morning that several troopers were seen in Walden trailing a car at high speeds with their lights flashing. Police confirm the two incidents are connected.
