Police in Fairfield are asking for the public’s help tracking down a man they say robbed a convenience store worker at knifepoint.
It happened Sunday around 6:30 p.m. at Star Fuels, near the intersection of Jennings Road and Black Rock Turnpike.
A worker on shift Sunday night, who is doing OK after the incident, says the suspect came into the store, put a knife on the counter and demanded money.
The worker says the man ran away with around $200 from the register.
According to police, the suspect is a white male with long brown hair and cuts on his hands.
He is around 6 feet tall and in his 20s or 30s.
He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt.
