Police searched the school with the help of K-9 units, but nothing was found to substantiate the threat.

A bomb threat was called in for Hamden High School Tuesday morning.
Police say Hamden police received a call around 7:45 a.m. regarding the threat.
Board of Education staff and police put a plan in place to evacuate the building.
Police searched the school with the help of K-9 units, but nothing was found to substantiate the threat.
Students and school staff were cleared to return to the school.
Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit, along with federal authorities, are continuing with the investigation.
