A driver was killed in a crash in Brookfield Saturday night, police say.

It happened on Candlewood Lake Road near Echo Bay Marina. Police say the car hit a utility pole and then a parked car.

The driver, who alone in the car, was taken to the hospital and was later pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation. The driver's identity has not been released.
