Police: Hairless cat, designer bags worth $8,500 stolen from hotel room in Shelton

Police say the feline and bags estimated to be $8,500 were stolen from a room at the Hilton Garden Inn on Sunday.

A hairless cat and two designer bags were stolen from a hotel room in Shelton, police say.
Police say the feline and bags were stolen from a room at the Hilton Garden Inn on Sunday.
A total of about $8,500 worth of items was stolen.
There were no signs of forced entry.
Police released images of a suspect wearing long, gray-colored hooded coat and sweatpants with white-colored sandals.
An image of a vehicle police say they believe is also connected to the theft was released to the public.
