A Fairfield man broke into his neighbor's home and entered a sleeping teenage girl's room naked from the waist down, police say.
Eric Kusheba, 36, allegedly wore only a robe and T-shirt when police arrested him after responding to the Tunxis Road home around 5:30 a.m. Investigators say he had brass knuckles in his pocket and child pornography on his phone.
"A juvenile female in her bedroom woke up to find this individual standing over her bed," says Fairfield Police Chief Gary MacNamara.
She screamed loud enough to wake up her family, which called 911 and held Kusheba until officers arrived, police say.
Police were looking into whether Kusheba took the pictures himself or if he downloaded them from the internet.
"Whether or not it was going to be an assault or what have you, we don't know," MacNamara says. "Clearly, this individual, a grown man in a juvenile's bedroom half naked at 5:30 in the morning, unwanted visitor inside the house, is a great concern to us."
Kusheba faces several charges, including home invasion, carrying a dangerous weapon, voyeurism and possession of child pornography.
