Bridgeport police are searching for a man who they say broke into a house and pointed a gun at the homeowner.
Police say the break-in happened on Evers Street at around noon Saturday.
They say the intruder put a gun to the homeowner's chest, but the victim was able to fight him off.
Investigators say they believe the suspect was trying to rob the house.
