A Darien man is facing charges after he allegedly claimed to be a police officer and made a scene at a McDonald's.
Police say William King was waiting in line in his car at the restaurant's drive-thru window on Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport on Wednesday when he became impatient and got out of his truck.
King allegedly took food from the customer in front of him and threw it at the customer in front of her children. Police say King claimed to be a police officer and yelled a racial slur at the woman before driving off.
Real police officers caught up with King, who has been arrested in the past, and charged him with breach of the peace.
