Stamford police are asking for the public's help in finding the man who they say exposed himself to a 14-year-old girl and inappropriately touched her.
Police say the incident happened near the intersection of Orange Street and Ursula Place as the girl was walking to her bus stop to get to high school around 6:45 a.m. last Thursday. The man allegedly exposed himself and inappropriately touched the girl.
The man ran off after the girl said she would call 911. Officers searched the area but could not find the suspect.
Police say the girl was not hurt and are reminding residents to be aware of their surroundings.
Investigators believe the suspect is a Hispanic man in his 30s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build and scruffy beard.
