Police: Man injured in shooting on St. John Street in Norwalk

Police say a man was injured in a shooting in Norwalk Friday night. The incident happened on St. John Street. The road was blocked off with police tape and several police cars were on the scene.

Police say a man was injured in a shooting in Norwalk Friday night.
The incident happened on St. John Street. The road was blocked off with police tape and several police cars were on the scene.
Police say a 22-year-old man was shot in the back. He was taken to Norwalk Hospital where he underwent surgery. He is expected to be OK.
Police say they arrested two people on the scene, one of which assaulted a police officer. They say, though, that they have not arrested anyone in direct connection with the shooting.
