(AP) - Connecticut police have arrested aFairfield man after he allegedly went berserk at a doctor's officeafter allegedly being refused an appointment.
Fairfield police say 44-year-old Randy Spartachino punched thedoctor in the face and slamming his nurse head first to the floorTuesday afternoon.
Police say the nurse was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Centerin Bridgeport suffering from broken bones after the attack. Dr.Rahul Anand was treated for bruises.
Police say the doctor refused to examine Spartachino because theman had previously gone to a pharmacy where he fraudulently claimedhe had a painkiller prescription from Anand.
Spartachino is free after posting bond on charges of assault andbreach of peace.
