Police: Meriden man charged for drinking and driving in Orange

A Meriden man has been charged for drinking and driving in Orange on July 8, police say.
Police say Justin Potts was a part of a large group of over 200 dirt bike and motorcycle drivers who were traveling recklessly down the Boston Post Road from West Haven into Milford.
A social media post also showed Potts drinking beer while driving, according to police.
He is expected to appear in court on Aug. 2.
Milford police said on Facebook that they are still investigating the group of reckless drivers. They are also asking the public to help identify another individual who was photographed during the incident.
