A Westchester County man was arrested in Stamford after police say he was running from police in New York.

A Westchester County man was arrested in Stamford after police say he was running from police in New York. 
Police say Howard Rowlett showed up at Stamford hospital claiming he had been shot at Dinosaur BBQ.
Police discovered Rowlett had been shot by police after he hit officers with his car on the border of Mount Vernon and the Bronx.
Rowlett was charged as a fugitive from justice, and arraigned in court.
Police in Mount Vernon are now working on his extradition.
