Police: New Milford man seriously injured in scooter crash on Route 7
Police say 28-year-old Nicholas Basso was found on the ground with serious injuries. Police confirm he was riding the scooter when the crash occurred. He was taken to Danbury Hospital in critical condition.

A New Milford man was seriously injured following a crash Friday between a Ford Transit van and scooter, police say.
The crash happened in the area of Kent Road, also known as Route 7, and Candlewood Lake Road North at 8:45 p.m.
Police say 28-year-old Nicholas Basso was found on the ground with serious injuries. Police confirm he was riding the scooter when the crash occurred.
He was taken to Danbury Hospital in critical condition.
It's not clear what led to the crash.
