Norwalk police say a man has been charged with assault after hitting and choking his stepson.
Police say they arrested Salvatore Galaz, 55, on Friday.
They say his stepson claims Galaz threatened him after an argument.
The stepson says Galaz wrestled him to the ground and pushed his head into the dirt.
Galaz is due in court Tuesday.
