Bridgeport police say that one of their officers has been arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot his girlfriend and her children.
The arrest report, released Tuesday, says the alleged incident happened early Sunday morning at the Bridgeport Police Department.
Police say Officer Jose Sepulveda was involved in a domestic dispute with a woman he has been dating. They say the woman became upset with him after seeing him with another woman at police headquarters.
Police say Sepulveda displayed a firearm and held it toward the ground by his side and said to the woman he has been dating, "I will kill you and your kids."
The arrest report says that Sepulveda later punched the windshield of the woman's car, breaking it.
No injuries were reported.
Sepulveda has been placed on paid administrative leave while police investigate.
