Police are looking for two suspects after a man was shot at the Marina Village housing project in Bridgeport early Saturday morning.
Officials say 38-year-old Eugene Williams was shot in the neck just before 3 a.m.
Williams' family says he is in stable condition at Bridgeport Hospital after undergoing surgery. They told News 12 that they believe Williams was caught in the crossfire near building 22 of the complex. They don't feel that Williams was targeted.
A friend of Williams says she used her scarf to apply pressure to his wound while they waited for emergency services.
Residents say a special meeting has been scheduled at Marina Village Wednesday afternoon to discuss safety concerns in the wake of the latest shooting.
