Police are searching for the driver who was involved in a deadly hit-and-run in West Haven early Monday morning.

Officers say a woman was hit around 12:30 a.m. on Saw Mill Road outside a shopping plaza that includes a Starbucks and a Chipotle.

Police say the woman was rushed to the hospital but died from her injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
