Bridgeport police say they are searching for a homicide suspect Sunday after a man was shot and killed.
Police say Immanuel White, 22, was shot twice in the torso and collapsed in a doorway on 432 Wells St. Saturday night. He was later pronounced dead at St. Vincent's Medical Center.
Police Chief AJ Perez says he has strong suspicions that the murder was drug-related. Investigators say they're looking for any surveillance video that may have captured the crime in progress.
Authorities say White suffered non-life threatening injuries back in April, when he was shot in the wrist elsewhere in the city.
It marks the city's seventh murder of the year. Police are asking anybody who may have information about the homicide to call them.
