Stamford police are examining surveillance video to capture bank robbery suspects who left behind an actual trail of stolen money as they fled. Authorities say the break-in happened at the Citizens Bank on the corner of Atlantic and Broad streets. They say a man handed the teller a note, then ran to a getaway car where a passenger waited for him. Investigators say a dye pack hidden in the money exploded in the vehicle, and the suspects pulled over to toss it away along with some of the stained money. Anyone with information is urged to call Stamford police at 203-977-4444.
