Police are telling Weston residents to stay alert after eight overnight burglaries have occurred in the last month.
Authorities believe that the six car burglaries and two commercial burglaries appear to be connected. The thieves have targeted electronics and credit cards.
The most recent incident took place on Friday, when thieves broke into an unlocked car and stole a credit card and a cell phone.
Police are cautioning residents to keep their car doors locked overnight to help prevent theft.
