Police have suspended their search for a man who fell out of a boat near Calf Pasture Beach earlier in the day.
The incident happened shortly after 12 p.m. Monday. Beachgoers say they heard people screaming for help just past the end of the pier. They then saw a capsized boat and people in the water.
Rescuers from Norwalk, Wilton, Darien and Westport searched the water and pulled out three victims. The fourth, a 40-year-old man from Guatemala, remains missing.
Officials say that the boat was only meant for two people.
A large cooler was also found on the boat.
The names of the people on the boat have not yet been released. Police say the search will resume Tuesday morning.
