A taxi driver in Wilton has helped officers find their suspect after being forced into helping with a home robbery.
According to the Connecticut Post, Emmanuel Modey, of Bridgeport, hired a cab to take him to a home in Wilton.
Modey had used that home as a shipping address for four cellphones he had bought with stolen credit cards, police say.
Police say Modey broke through a window after realizing the homeowner had already brought the packages inside.
Modey ordered the driver to take him to a train station.
The cab company then called police.
