Police in the town of Orange are asking the public's help identifying a suspect who stole oxycodone from a pharmacy while armed with a gun.
The robbery occurred on Tuesday at the Sunrise Pharmacy on Indian River Road.
Investigators say it's the second armed robbery to happen at the pharmacy in three months.
Police say the suspect entered the store, pulled out a gun and ordered the pharmacist to fill a Target store bag with oxycodone from the store's safe.
Police released images of the suspect, who they describe as a Hispanic man with a possible neck tattoo. He was last seen wearing a black-colored hat, a hooded jacket, and black-colored sweatpants.
Police say a similar armed robbery occurred at the same business in the early evening on Dec. 5, 2022, in which prescription narcotics were also taken at gunpoint.
Police say the suspect in the December robbery is not the same as the suspect in the most recent robbery.
Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 230-891-2138, and reference case #23-6005.
