A Quinnipiac University poll released this morning shows that Marco Rubio and Hillary Clinton are the early favorites to face off in the 2016 presidential election.
Pollsters found that 15 percent of Republicans asked say they support Sen. Marco Rubio. That's more than any other GOP member.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is second with 13 percent.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is the only other Republican candidate with more than 10 percent.
For the Democrats, former Secretary of State Clinton is the clear leader with 60 percent.
However, 10 percent of liberals say they prefer Vice President Joe Biden.
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders came in third with 8 percent.
When compared head to head, Clinton leads all potential Republican opponents by a wide margin, except for Rubio, who trails by just two points, which is in the margin of error.
