Storms across Connecticut left a path of destruction in their wake Thursday.
Major flooding closed down the portion of I-95 southbound in Norwalk between exits 15 and 16.
Traffic was backed up for miles and cars were being diverted off of exit 16. Drivers were seen getting out of their cars and pushing them through floodwaters around 5 p.m.
The exits did not fully reopen until around 6:15 p.m.

Flooding also caused a number of delays on the New Haven Metro-North line, including at Southport, South Norwalk and Greens Farms.
