The prosecution rested its case in the trial for State Trooper Brian North on Thursday.
North is charged with manslaughter for fatally shooting 19-year-old Mubarak Soulemane following a high-speed chase in January 2020.
The trial comes after the Connecticut inspector general concluded North was not justified in using of deadly force.
The defense is expected to call it's first witness and determine if North will take the stand on Friday.
