Racially charged graffiti was found at the Stratfield Market Building.
Police say they got a call about graffiti depicting a swastika, the letters KKK, and the slogan "white lives matter" written in black spray paint Sunday morning.
The empty store has been a perfect target for graffiti, but it's never been this bad, they say.
Due to its racial context, police urged the town to have it temporarily covered to avoid any issues with residents and local businesses.
