Rainy day kicks off Bridgeport festival

The annual ?Gathering of the Vibes? concert started Thursday to thousands of fans who braved the rainy weather to see their favorite musicians perform.
Fans from around the country and concert organizers say they will not cancel the concert due to the rain.
Children can enjoy the concert in an area called Kid?s Corner. There are also several kinds of food to eat, ranging from Chinese food to typical carnival treats.
Tickets for the festival are still available and start at $75 each. George Clinton, Bob Weir with Ratdog and Levon Helm, and Crosby Stills and Nash will headline starting Friday.
