Rallies will be held starting today around Connecticut to call for support of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
The program gives temporary resident status to students who are here illegally.
It's estimated about 10,000 people in the state are part of DACA.
The rally today will be held in Hartford, then in New Haven on Wednesday and Danbury on Thursday.
