As of the end of 2022, there are a lot of job openings in the state of Connecticut and a Norwalk-based recruiting firm says there are a few ways to make landing the job easier.
Caleb Silver with Investopedia says 100,000 jobs were opened in Dec. 2022. in Connecticut and 56,000 people surveyed by Jolt stated that they got hired in the state. 
He says in terms of people feeling like there are other job opportunities, 42,000 people quit their jobs in Dec. 2022 so they feel like there is a lot of mobility within the labor sector.
Recruiting firm Excel Partners based in Norwalk says make sure you are well dressed, and to wear an outfit that makes you feel the best.
If you are unsure about your body language, Excel Partners recommends having someone video interview you prior to the actual interview. They say to make sure you are looking directly at the camera and make sure you don't have a distracting background.
