Redding First Selectwoman Natalie Ketcham says a bridge that has been closed for repairs will reopen soon.
Ketcham says paving will be completed today on the new bridge carrying the Simpaug Turnpike over the Metro-North tracks.
She says it will open one week from today.
The project was supposed to finished in July, but was delayed for several reasons.
