Staff and students at Staples High School in Westport are reportedly mourning the loss of one of their teachers this weekend.
Published reports say 27-year-old Cody Thomas died Saturday.
Thomas was an English teacher and served as co-adviser to the school's award-winning student newspaper Inklings.
Local news sites say the Staples administration and Emergency Crisis Team will offer counseling to anyone who needs it at school today.
