Officers came to the rescue after an osprey became entangled in a fishing line at Norwalk Harbor.
Fortunately, the osprey was successfully removed from the water, and a wildlife rehabilitation expert specializing in raptors was contacted to provide care for the bird.
The osprey's injuries are now being treated at Christine's Critters, and it is expected to be released back into the wild.
