Southwestern Connecticut residents expressed their concerns Thursday about the faltering stock markets.
Experts are worried that the financial crisis on Wall Street may hit some areas in southwestern Connecticut. Now, residents are concerned about possibly losing their retirement funds or even their jobs, as many work in the financial sector.
?The country is going down the drain and I'm thinking of moving to Dubai,? says Linda Ferris, of Darien. ?America has seen its day.?
Though many residents may be anxious to pull out of the market, financial advisers urge people not to make money decisions based on their emotions.
?I hope it's only a bump in the road rather than a major pitfall,? says Wilfred Cameron, of Greenwich.
