Connecticut Lottery has announced it will be opening a new retail sports betting facility.

The facility will open at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport.

The 2,500 square foot venue will have full food and drink service, an outdoor patio and a dozen kiosks and teller windows so people can place their bets.

Construction will start in the coming months.

The sports betting facility would join around a dozen others in the state.
