Salvation Army chapters in Connecticut say they are having trouble meeting their fundraising goals.
Cpt. Caroline Ramos, of the Norwalk chapter, says her funding goal for 2018 was $50,000. She’s currently $19,000 behind that mark with only five days until Christmas.
She says reduced foot traffic due to online shopping has taken a bite out of donations.
Ramos says people can still make donations at The Salvation Army website.
