Schools across Connecticut adopt remote and hybrid learning around Thanksgiving break

The Easton, Redding and Region 9 school districts will use the hybrid model beginning Monday, Nov. 16.

As schools continue to try and keep students and staff safe, more schools are moving to distance learning.
Bridgeport officials say the Wilbur Cross School will be fully remote until Nov. 30.
The Easton, Redding and Region 9 school districts will use the hybrid model beginning Monday, Nov. 16.
School officials say the hybrid schedule will remain in place through the Thanksgiving break.
In Milford, all high school students will transition to full-time distance learning from Nov. 16 until Jan. 8.
Elementary and middle school students will continue their current schedule of four days in class, with the exception of the week after Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. That week will be distance learning.
