Bridgeport police are searching for a gunman they say shot at a passing car in broad daylight yesterday afternoon. Authorities say the incident happened at around 3 p.m. near Central High School on Lincoln Avenue. They say the suspect, wearing a black sweatshirt and blue bandana, got out of a Honda and shot at a nearby vehicle. Witnesses say a total of six shots were fired and that the bullets barely missed the driver of the car. Investigators say a witness photographed the suspect's car, but that they are not ready to release it yet.
