Several residents were taken to the hospital after a fire broke out at a three-story building in Bridgeport.
Fire and EMS officials reported to the scene on Iranistan Avenue around 4:15 a.m.
The fire started on the second floor before extending to the third.
Officials say it took a little over an hour to get the fire under control.
One firefighter was injured but was treated at the scene.
A total of four residents were hospitalized and six people are being relocated with the help of the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
